CLOCK CHANGE BONUSES
Change the PlayStation2 system date to one of the following entries to
see special things at the front yard and the mystic playground.
January 1: Fireworks
February 14: Hearts on Scooby Snacks
March 17: Green fountain water and smoke from chimneys
July 4: Red, white, and blue fireworks, fountain water, and smoke from
chimneys
October 31: Giant bats over courtyard door for decoration
December 25: Snow
December 31: Fireworks
HINTS/PLAYING TIPS
FINDING THE PLUNGER
Go to the lighthouse and set the light to the top of the lighthouse.
Run to the top and smash the light to get the Smash power-up.
Head down to the bottom of the lighthouse, and just in front of the button
that you head-butted to send the light to the top there's a section of
boards on the floor.
Use the Smash to drop through the floor.
Follow the path around until you get to the warp gate.
Unlock all doors then go through the door on the same level as the warp
gate, just beyond it, to the Creepy Crawlies in the Hallways section.
Save Shaggy and head through the door directly across the hall from his cell
and you'll enter an area with falling rocks.
Head up the path to the ghost-filled room and at the far end you'll find the
Plunger power-up.
UMBRELLA
Once you have the Plunger (see above) go to the Sea Cliffs area past the
Hedge Maze and use the Plunger to climb the hill in the last room with the
gargoyles.
This will lead to the Graveyard section.
At the final stage of the Graveyard level you will be awarded the Umbrella
for defeating the boss.
BEATING MASTERMIND
When the two ghost appear head-butt them to stun them, then you can super
smash them to kill them.
Once they are dead the electricity will disappear and you can push the two
red buttons under mastermind.
Be quick, the electricity does not stay off long.. Then four ghosts will
appear, its easiest to do a super smash off one of the skeleton's head, jump
off his head and super smash the other, then you can kill the ghosts without
worrying about the skeleton's guns.
The electricity will go off again and you push the buttons again.
Then six ghosts will appear, kill them all, push the buttons and the gang
will make holograms of themselves and scare mastermind on to the floor.
You have to super smash mastermind and you will notice he gets stunned, if
you head butt him he will slide along the floor in the direction you head
butted him.
You have to push him into the electricity.
Make sure you don't let him disappear, he will reappear somewhere near the
middle of the room and you will have to start head-butting again.
It helps to keep the two ghosts stuck in gum so they won't get in your way.
And another little hint, when you are killing the first three sets of ghosts
try not to max out your health, that way they will keep leaving you food so
when mastermind does come to the floor you will have tons of snacks lying
around!
