COMBINATION CHEATS
LEVEL SKIP
Follow the steps below..
1. Get Lara to face exactly north.
2. Enter the inventory screen and look at the compass.
If the red point is not blinking slightly, try positioning her again.
3. Go to 'Load' and hold:
L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up, then press Triangle right as the compass hand points
directly north.
4. Close the inventory screen to advance to the next level.
ALL WEAPONS
Follow the steps below..
1. Get Lara to face exactly north.
2. Enter the inventory screen and look at the compass.
If the red point is not blinking slightly, try positioning her again.
3. Go to the small medipak and hold:
L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up, then press Triangle right as the compass hand points
directly north.
4. Close the inventory screen and reopen it to see all the weapons.
UNLIMITED ITEMS
Follow the steps below..
1. Get Lara to face exactly north.
2. Enter the inventory screen and look at the compass.
If the red point is not blinking slightly, try positioning her again.
Go to the large medipak and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Down, then press
Triangle right as the compass hand points directly north.
4. Close the inventory screen and reopen it.
All weapons should now display 'Unlimited ammo'.
UNLIMITED ITEMS(2)
Follow the steps below..
1. Get Lara to face exactly north.
2. Enter the inventory screen and look at the compass.
If the red point is not blinking slightly, try positioning her again.
3. Go to the small medipack and hold:
L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Up right as the compass hand points directly north.
4. Close the inventory screen and reopen it.
All weapons should now display 'Unlimited ammo'.

Cheat help: Easy way to face exactly north: Find any block that faces
north. Climb up or jump to it. Go to the inventory screen and your compass
should be transparent to confirm she is facing exactly north.
HINTS AND PLAYING TIPS
Turning on all the switches in the Star Room in the Lost Library: First,
start at the switch across from the reset pad. Face the reset pad and number
each switch starting with the one you are at as "1" and then going
left, 2, 3, 4, up to 7. Then, activate the switches in the following order:
1, 3, 2, 7, 5, 4, 6.
Save health packs: You can save health packs by going to a different
level, then coming back for health because the levels are so numerous and
close together.
Save explosive ammunition: Save explosive ammunition (grenade
launcher, Cross Bolt, etc.) for tougher opponents when fighting the
skeletons by using the shot gun against them. Get the skeleton between you
and a ledge and blast it. The skeleton will fall off the ledge and cease the
exist. Since shot gun ammo is more prevalent in the game than the explosive
ammunition, this will allow you to save it times when there are no ledges to
help.
Keep playing after losing life: At the Desert Railroad, once you have
obtained the crowbar, use it to throw the switch that releases the rest of
the rail cars. Immediately turn and run (sprint) in the opposite direction,
towards the engine. Lara can clearly be seen falling off the train and
getting run over by the rail car she just exited. However, because you have
triggered the next level it allows you to live and continue.
Gymnastics: Go to any ledge. Press X to hang on to it, then press Up
+ R1. Lara will do a handstand and flip over. To do a nice dive into water,
press Forward + Square + R1.
Light a flare from outside the inventory screen: Press R1 (walk) +
Select to use a flare. Do this twice and Lara will throw the flare.
Flip in the air: Instead of jumping forward or backward and pressing
Roll immediately, press the opposite direction. For example, if you jump
forward, immediately press Down and Lara will do a flip in the air. Do the
opposite if you jump backwards.
