COMBINATION CHEATS AND HINTS
Free
play mode
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press
Start when the phrase "Press Start" appears at the opening screen.
While still holding L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 press:
Up(7), Down, Up(4), Start.
The phrase "Limiter released" will be spoken to confirm correct
code entry.
Enter the configuration screen and turn off the credit limit to enable free
play mode.
Alternatively, play the game a total of two hundred times.
Thirteen
ships
Successfully complete the combat mode game under extra mode. This option
can be used to fly a prototype ship with no hyper laser or special attacks.
Shooting
Down Rate option
Set the game to 13 ships in the configuration screen. Then, successfully
complete the game in arcade or extra mode to unlock the Shooting Down Rate
option in the configuration screen. When enabled, the game will display the
number enemies destroyed during game play.
Level
select:
Successfully complete the combat mode game under arcade mode.
TAP
TAP! EXTRA CREDITS! (JAP VERSION)
On the Title screen repeatedly press Select to set the total
number of credits to nine.
