Follow the steps below..
1. On the Mode Select screen, highlight "1P Play" and press:

2. Highlight "Tournament" and press: Right.
3. Highlight "Course Edit" and press: Left, Left.
4. Highlight
"Options" and press:
Left, Left, Left, Left, Left, Left.
5. Highlight "1P Play" and press X.
The crowd will let out a cheer if done correctly.
