Start the game with the aquabug command line parameter.
You can now press one of the keys below to enable the effect you require..

Key .... Effect
C .... Toggle level cheat mode
D .... Toggle debug options
I or J .... Increase or decrease bitmap shadow gradient
O or K .... Increase or decrease text shadow alpha
P or L .... Increase or decrease text shadow gray
S .... Toggle text shadows
U or H .... Increase or decrease bitmap shadow offset
Y or G .... Increase or decrease bitmap shadow alpha
[Insert] or [Delete] .... Change current class
[Home] or [End] .... Change current level (only for Class 4)
[Page Up] or [Page Down] .... Change current stage
[F8] .... Toggle narrow stage
