PLAYING TIPS
PASSWORD CHEATS
Enter one of the Passwords below, as a code, from the main menu, to
enable the Effect you require.

HINTS AND PLAYING TIPS
Lizard team: Select an exhibition game at Kaufmann Stadium. When a
player hits either sign that reads "Win a lizard", the entire team
will turn into lizards.
Slower pitches: Hold A while pitching.
More pitches: Hold Z while selecting a pitch and four additional
pitches will be available for you to choose.
Aiming hits: Use the following trick to have your batter hit the ball
anywhere you desire. Set the batting style to easy. When you swing press:
Left Field: Press B + Up/Left.
Center Field: Press B + Up.
Right Field: Press B + Up/Right.
Infield: Press B + Down.
3rd Base Area: Press A + Left.
2nd Base area: Press A + Up.
1st Base area: Press A + Right.
Home Plate Area: Press A + Down.
Home Run: Press B + Up (with a good batter).
Easy hits: Enter to game options and select "Batting
Style", then switch it to "Easy".
Easy hits (2): With any fast player (such as Kenny Lofton or Louis
Castillo), bunt down the third base line and he should be safe.
Easy homeruns: Use the following trick to hit a homerun at almost
every at bat on a slider, fastball, or change up. Hit with power and
position the box so the ball marker is just above the line.
Easy runs: At the back of your line up, have a fast runner (such as
Kenny Lofton) at bat before the pitcher. If there is one out or no outs,
bunt down the third base line with the fast runner. On the first pitch to
your pitcher or next batter, have the runner steal second base. Then, just
as the pitch is thrown, run as if stealing third base and bunt down the
third base line. As your runner reaches third base, run home. You will need
to slide into home plate. Note: The next batter will most likely be out --
do not attempt this when you have two outs.
Avoid tags: When sliding into any base on a close play, tap Analog-stick
Down, A to slide to the side and avoid the tag.
