BUTTON COMBINATION CHEATS
I have found a host of cheats for this game.. try them all and see what works for your version of the game..

ACCESS THE EXPERT MODE
Go to the Character Select screen and Hold:
L + R + Start.
The word EXPERT should appear.

UNLOCK THE PUSH BIKE
As the Character Select Screen disappears quickly press:

L + R + Start, L + R + Start, L + R + Start

  To choose the bike in arcade or original mode, hold L + R and press Up or Down on each character at the character select screen. 

To choose the bike in crazy box mode, highlight Gus and press Right at the character selection screen.

GET RID OF THE ARROWS
As the Character Select Screen appears hold R + Start. 

GET RID OF THE DESTINATION INDICATOR
Hold L + Start as the character select screen appears.

SPEED BOOST
Press B + R during play to get a boost

DEAD STOP
Press L + A during play for an emergency stop.

CRAZY DRIFT
During play and at high speed, hold Left or Right then quickly press A, B to shift into Reverse, then back into Drive.

I have tested the cheats below on my own copy of (PAL European/ Australian) CRAZY TAXI and they work.. have fun!

UNLOCK THE PEDAL TAXI (SECRET BIKE)
On the Character select screen quickly press:
 L + R , L + R, L + R
Now select a driver and you'll have the bike! 

UNLOCK THE 'ANOTHER DAY' MODE
On the character select screen hold: R and while keeping the R button held, select a driver.
You will get confirmation in the form of a "another day' message in the corner of the screen.
