was launched late December 1999.
Described by Computer Active (A UK based magazine) as:
'essential reading for true gamers..'
To me (editor and owner), the great thing about the
gameskanker.com site, is its no nonsense approach to
giving you the cheats, hints and links to the info you
need.
We don't blind you with pretty graphics and colours we
just give you the info you need, quick, so you can get
back to beating the game you're stuck on.
Hopefully, we manage to achieve this.. well.. we must, you
keep coming back for more!
The site keeps going from strength to strength and over
the coming year we are expecting great things to happen.
If you're wondering.. A 'Skank' is a UK slang term
meaning, 'to cheat'.
So Game Skanker roughly means.. Game Cheater. (yes.. A
'Skank' can also be a shady lady of ill virtue, but in
this case, not.)
Retrocheats.com was launched in Aug 2003.
Its aim is to provide cheats for every game you can think
of, from the earliest Atari consoles to the more recent
super systems. The retrocheats.com site is going to be
enormous, eventually it will house all the cheats on the
gameskanker.com site that are over 2 years old and
hopefully live on for many years to come.
