30 SEC PERIODS
On the Selection screen, hold: 
A + C and press Start.
Each period will be 30 seconds in duration.

EDIT THE OPPOSING TEAM
Elect to play as the home team. Use controller two on the screen that appears before the face-off to edit the other team.

SELECT THE CPU GOALIE
Hold A + B and power on the Genesis. Release the buttons until the "Stevens/Yzerman" screen fades.
Use controller two to select the CPU goalie at the screen that appears before the face-off.
Selecting no goalie and will leave the opposing goal defenseless.

CREATE SUPER PLAYERS
Create a player and select any position except for goalie.
Set all attributes to 81.
Some attributes will change to exceed 90 after the player is selected for a team.

CREATE A SUPER GOALIE
Create a goalie and set all attributes to 99, except for Speed which should be 75 and Offensive Awareness which should be 36.
A goalie rated at 99 will be created after the he is selected for a team.
